My name is Ngailalven Khuptong. I was born on 16th March, 2001. I have one brother and one sister and I am the youngest.
My father died of Cancer in January 2005 when I was only 4 years old. We lived a difficult life after my father left us. Unfortunately, my mother too died the very next month. There was nobody to look after me and my siblings. Most of the time, we feel lonely and didn’t know what to do. But, because of the love and grace of God, my sister and brother got admitted to Covenant Children’s Home in the year 2006. During that time, I moved to my uncle’s house and lived with them. I too got admitted in 2008 and lived there with my sister and brother until 2023.
At Covenant Children’s Home, I experienced God’s love, richness, warmness, and tenderness. I could have beautiful dresses to wear, lived in a big family and got the best education. Our supervisors and staff do take care of us with love and they’re always standing by our side to help us. Although I lost my parents at a very young age, I know that God is the father of the fatherless and gives hope when we lost all hope. And, I praise the Lord for that. I am also thankful to my supervisors, staff, Managing Board members and all those who are sponsoring me and all the people taking part to run the Ministry of Covenant Children’s Home.
All of us have graduated from Covenant Children’s Home. My sister has secured a bank job, and my brother has been appointed to a state government service. I am currently exploring suitable job opportunities.

My name is Melody Lamngaihlian Phiamphu. I was born on 20th January 2002. I have three siblings—two elder sisters and one younger sister.
I lost my father in 2007. After that, life became very difficult, but God made a way for us through Covenant Children Home (CCH). My younger sister and I were admitted to CCH in 2010. Through their sponsorship, I completed my B.Sc in Nursing in 2023.
In 2024, I moved to Delhi with my family, and I am currently working at Hygiea Hospital, Munirka, New Delhi. At the same time, I am preparing for government job exams applicable to nurses.
While writing and thinking about the past, I often get lost in my thoughts: “Where would I be? What would I be doing? Would I have received an education?” If we hadn’t met these wonderful people—the supervisors, staff, board members, and most importantly, Sam and Delynn, my sponsors who made sure all my needs were met—I don’t know where I would be today. They supported me for over a decade.
I can’t stop thanking God for all these people He brought into my life after taking my Dad, who meant the world to me. Through Covenant Children’s Home, He gave me hope and a future.
